One of the funniest movies I've watched in a very long time is Strays. I don't know if it was simply exactly my kind of humor, but I couldn't quit giggling. From the beginning to the end, it was consistently funny. I've watched enough bad comedies to know the difference between a movie where the dialogue is written based on what the writers THINK would make people laugh and one where the writers KNOW will make people laugh. If it's written for what they think would make people laugh, it will typically result in endless giggles from a group of middle-aged women and that will be it. I thought it was wonderful that Strays made the entire theater laugh and enjoy the movie as a whole.
It had a surprising number of relatable and moving moments for a film that was only intended to be a foolish comedy. Although the film's dog-related elements were mostly accurate and showed a remarkable awareness and understanding from the creators, the plot was ridiculous. This movie was clearly produced by dog lovers. In this one, Will Ferrell and Jamie Foxx resembled a milder version of The Rock and Kevin Hart. The intensity and humorous variety of Will Ferrell and Jamie Foxx, however, made this adult brand of humor far funnier. Enjoy Flixtor Vip's top movies and shows online in HD.
