In the process of a cab mix-up, Ezra gets into a girl's car that looks a lot like the driver's photo from the app. And she, not understanding what is happening, starts screaming loudly. When the misunderstanding was resolved, they both laughed at the situation and felt a strong attraction. Amira and Ezra begin to meet and the further they feel the more mutual feelings and desire to marry.
Despite the obvious cultural differences, the characters have a lot in common, so Ezra decides to take a serious step - he wants to propose to his beloved. The problems start when it comes to getting to know the parents, because the delicate racial issue is on the agenda. A meeting in a cafe with Amira's father showed that he, in principle, was not against their marriage, but for some reason he immediately remembered revenge from his daughter's white grandfather. When relatives of a couple in love meet, the situation reaches the point of absurdity, since they have completely different views on life, but for the sake of love, the main characters have to overcome this barrier.
Ezra and Amira have already built their personal lives far from restless relatives, but now they want to protect it and set up new relatives for positive emotions towards each other. In addition to the dispute about skin color, parents recall different religions, which horrifies the newlyweds. One gets the sad impression that close people, instead of meeting each other halfway, are intensively looking for reasons to move away. A young couple and their families must learn to respect modern love against the backdrop of a clash of cultures, societal expectations and generational differences.
